Game SummaryEvent Notes:
Non-League Game Recap: Tonight, the JV Girls played their first home game of the season against York, and while it's early in the season, we're already seeing moments of growth and potential. As expected, offense and defense are still finding their rhythm, and perfection is not something expected this early. The Bombers faced challenges with turnovers, primarily due to some errant passing. However, there were also bright spots where ball movement was very good, leading to good looks from the outside and strong opportunities for layups inside. These moments highlight the team's potential as they continue to build on their fundamentals. At halftime the differential was just three points. In the second half the girls stepped up and scored 11 points in the 4th, while holding York to only 5. The defensive effort was a testament to the willingness to work hard and showed determination. Sawyer had an impressive fourth quarter, contributing 7 points, while Marley added 4 to seal the victory. Another positive was the strong effort by Alayna in the closing minutes, where she provided some much needed on ball full court pressure on Yorks primary ball handler.Alayna 2pts., Alina 2pts., Emily 1pt., Marlee 8pts., Sawyer 14pts., Grace 6pts.As we prepare for our next game on December 13th against Pal-Mac, we'll be focusing on improving our passing, minimizing turnovers, and strengthening our rebounding. These areas will be key to the team's continued success and growth.Great effort tonight, and let's keep building on this performance!Coach Willix |

Game SummaryEvent Notes:
Game Game Recap: The Bloomfield Bombers displayed resilience and determination in their matchup against the Wayne Eagles on Friday night at Wayne Senior High School. While neither team found their rhythm early, the Bombers dug deep to secure a hard-fought 39-31 victory.Bloomfield started the game with a solid defensive effort, holding Wayne to just three points in the first quarter and ending the frame with a 7-3 lead. By halftime, the Bombers had extended their advantage to 15-11, with steady contributions from multiple players. The third quarter saw some challenges for the Bombers as Wayne took a slight lead, 23-21, heading into the final quarter. However, Bloomfield's determination shone brightly in the fourth. Implementing a full-court zone press, the Bombers created several key turnovers that translated into fast-break opportunities and critical points. The team's impressive 18-point final quarter demonstrated their ability to rise to the occasion when it matters most.Top scorers included Sawyer, who led the way with 14 points, and Grace, who added 8. Marlee chipped in with 5 points, Alina contributed 4, while Alayna, Ellie, and Emily rounded out the scoring.Despite the victory, there's room for improvement, as the Bombers missed several layups they typically make with ease and had occasional defensive lapses.
